COVID-19 Safety Information

Purchase a ticket + tell us if you are unwell

When you arrive at VeganFest, our volunteers will check you in so that we have an accurate record of who attended the event. If you arrive without a ticket, you may be denied entry if tickets are sold out for that timeslot. In line with government recommendations, we will be asking all persons entering the festival whether they have travelled overseas recently, been in contact with any confirmed cases of COVID-19, or have any flu-like symptoms.

We also recommend all patrons download the Federal Government’s official COVIDSafe app.

Maintain a social distance from others

We ask that you stay 1.5 metres from others at all times, including when you are lining up to enter the festival or purchase food and drink.

Practice good hand hygiene + tap to pay

Sanitising stations will be situated throughout the venue. We ask that all patrons practice good hand hygiene by regularly washing their hands or using the available hand sanitiser.

When purchasing food and drink, we recommend using contactless card payments.

Stay home if you are feeling unwell

The most important thing you can do to keep yourself and others safe is to stay home if you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of COVID-19 including a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath. We will be happy to refund your ticket cost if you are unable to attend due to having these symptoms.

Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to leave the event and we reserve the right to refuse entry on this basis.

VeganFest Tasmania 2020 will be operating under an approved COVID Safe plan.
